Random Friday Rambling

Watching vidoes on VH1 this morning. Very depressing. If all of the top 10 never made another sound the world would not suffer; sad... Where will the next great band come from?

Ozzie gets a twitter account.. to discuss his family BBQ's?? All anyone wants know about him revolves around baseball tirades. No need to clutter up the twits with discussions about anything personal. Nobody cares. Thats why Twitter is on the way out.

Olympics. Maybe it is just me, but aren't we SUPPOSED to win? We have 10 times the population of the next viable teams.. China has more people but most of them live in less than conducive conditions for high tech sports training. This looks as bad as the PanAmerican games where we beat up on Guatamala and El Savador.

Thabeet gets sent down to D-League- the Grizzlies are giving the minutes to the Iranian back-up center. Nothing more to add on that. The League never ceases to amaze.

Checkov's kid checks out.. Boner. sorry to see anyone make that choice but give them all a break.. Child actors are not handled properly. Isnt that obvious based on the volume of stories that drown us on this topic? soryr to all who went through that short stretch of fame. Doesnt seem to do any of them any favors..

Enough before the weekend. Enjoy the day- you will only have it once.

Golfers

Weren't Jordan, Barkley, Johnson and Wade (allegedly) known serial womanizers ? How come they didn't go to rehab and do a speech at the mid-point break to apologize to everybody on planet earth? Is it because golfers play a gentleman's game or because we expect indiscretion's from the true athletes? If golfers on tour partied like rock stars (Daly excluded) we would not be subjected to the nonsense of a 13 minute soliloquy on how bad on guy feels for his recreational activities. This whole mess would have been forgotten with the next tournament win. Bring on the Masters with or without #1. Don't know about you but I cant get past the whining. Stand up and take it like a man. Or maybe he's too worried about a flying 7 iron.
